Dad's Weekend Cultural Exhibition Luau:
OUR BIGGEST EVENT OF THE YEAR IS NEXT WEEK FRIDAY!!!
Be sure to come hungry for GREAT FOOD AND ENTERTAINMENT for our annual cultural exhibition luau! Ticket sales will be going on from Monday to Friday from 11 AM to 2 PM in the CUB Spine! If you buy presale, it's $20 for a single ticket, but if you buy two or more tickets, the price will go down to $18 per ticket! At the door, ticket prices will remain $20. The doors will open at 5:30 PM; the program will start at 7 PM.
General Dance Practice:
Come join us for practices every week on Mondays and Thursdays! Absolutely NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - arrive ready and enthusiastic to learn the numerous dances that originated from all the islands in the Pacific!
Mondays: 5-7 PM, in CUE 219
Thursdays: 6-8 PM, in Butch's Den (Lower Level of the CUB)
Tsunami Relief Donation Drive:
After the devastating earthquake and tsunami that inflicted horrific damage in Samoa and other various areas throughout the Pacific, the club is currently holding a donation drive to send necessities over to the survivors of the villages that were ruined.
If you are able to spare clothing, new toiletries or money, keep in mind that you are helping many lives that were affected by these disasters.
In addition to visiting our table on the CUB Spine, you can also find other boxes in the AAPI Center (located on the 4th floor of the CUB) as well as Southside Dining Hall. We will be collecting donations throughout the month, up until our Cultural Exhibition in November.
