March 21-23rd, 1997, were the historical dates the first annual CASHE conference. It drew nearly 200 students from different areas of Washington State. The conference was a success and stayed in the hearts and memories of not only the high school student participants, but also in the hearts of those who organized it.

As always, we, the students, will continue to struggle to ensure that the Annual C.A.S.H.E Youth Conference continues. The CASHE conference remains a student effot, dedicated to students. "By the Students, for the students."
