Chapter History

In the spring of 1998 Dawn Buckley, Hilda Chavez, Kristina Cruz and Yvonne Rodriguez had the desire to be part of an organization that would help them give back to their community.

  Kappa Delta Chi provided the four pillars these women sought; Unity, Honesty, Integrity and Leadership.  The four women soon formed an interest group and on January, 28, 1998 a dozen young women all with different backgrounds met for the first time.  No one was sure what the meeting would hold; the roller coaster of new events, challenges, friendships and the search for sisterhood.  

 A year later after many tears, laughter and many hours of community service throughout campus Kappa Delta Chi was formed.   

On March 27, 1999 the Rho Chapter at Washington State University was inducted by the Kappa Chapter of Northern Arizona University.  The following women were initiated as Charter Members of the Rho Chapter...
